Vintage Levi’s® AD

So…Today Levi’s® celebrates 75 years of womens denim! women were wearing men’s denim for years before the 1932 release of Levi’s® womens jeans. Women were wearing men’s jeans back then so Levi’s® met their need. The women’s denim was then created. The new zipper enclosure and slightly stretched to fit fabric was ideal for women on the ever popular dude ranches of that time.  High-end department stores  like Best & Co. and H. Kauffman & Sons Saddlery Company offered Levi’s® to meet this new demand.

Today our designs are basically throwbacks of yesteryear…nice! 1960′s was when they started bringing out the skinny and straight options (the GREESE era) and we have been rocking them for a while now. I personally like this stage of fashion a lot better than the boot cut and flare phase we just left (im short and they don’t work on the height challenged).

Levi’s® Keep being the innovators of the denim world and i thank you for your creation!!!!
